Welcome to the 2025 Football Season.

On behalf of the CFOA Board of Directors and the Executive Council, we welcome our new and returning officials to this new and exciting season of CIF-SS Tackle and Flag Football.

​

We have over 1000 members in our affiliated units officiating high school football games throughout the CIF-SS Area who will soon be under an appreciable game fee contract for the next three seasons approved by the CIF-SS schools. The demand for new officials has never been greater.

 

Many of our CFOA members have gone on to officiate at the next level. Whether it’s JC Football, NCAA or NFL, one thing in common is they all got their start at the High School level. The CFOA instructional staff is led by Greg Truex: Instructional Chair Tackle Football & MaryAnn Menlove: Instructional Chair Flag Football. With their outstanding leadership & dedication they have developed an advanced training program to prepare our members for the football season.

 

Special thanks to our Past-President Jerry Trautman, President-Elect Jeff Taylor, Sec/Treasure Ken Ay, and Instructional Chair Greg Truex for their assistance in designing our new CFOA logo and new uniforms.

 

I want to also thank James Grace for the modernization and upkeep of our CFOA website.
