Welcome to the 2026 Football Season.

On behalf of the CFOA Board of Directors and Executive Council, welcome to the 2026 CIF-SS Tackle and Flag football season.

​

Our affiliated units include more than 1,300 members officiating high school games across the CIF-SS area. But the need for new officials has never been greater.

 

Many CFOA officials have advanced to the next level—from JC Football to the NCAA and a select few onto the NFL—and they all had one thing in common; they began officiating at the high school level. Use the link above, and we’ll connect you with a nearby unit so you can join our outstanding group of officials.

 

Our instructional program is led by Greg Truex (Instructional Chair, Tackle Football) and MaryAnn Menlove (Instructional Chair, Flag Football). Through their leadership and dedication, they’ve built an advanced training program to prepare our members for the season.

 

Special thanks to Past President Jerry Trautman, President-Elect Jeff Taylor, Sec/Treasurer Ken Ay, and Instructional Chair Greg Truex who were instrumental in creating our new CFOA logo and uniforms.
