This will be a wrap up meeting…over the past 5 months we have reviewed post-scrimmage kick penalty enforcement…we heard from Chris Coyte on how to communicate with your crew, report fouls to your Referee, and how Referee’s should make their announcements. We’ve had Rod Amari talk about how and when to communicate with coaches, when to move and when not to move in order to be in the best position to have the best judgement.
At the end of each session I ask what other topics you all would like to discuss…the responses I have received don’t require an hour of training, so we’re going to get to as many as possible next Tuesday night. We’ll talk about the “tush push”, illegal contact against a defenseless player, dealing with sideline fans outside of the team box, deadfall officiating, First Touching…and we’ll close it out this offseason reviewing the first section of the CFOA Summer Study Guide which covers the new 2025 rules.

Hope to see everyone on Tuesday night.
Cheers, Greg
