The CFOA will be hosting five (5) NFHS instructional sessions beginning on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 7pm.

 

All sessions will be held via Zoom with ~45 mins on specific topics (e.g. post-scrimmage kick

fouls and enforcement, Holding, Pass Interference, etc.), as well as 20-30 mins of film study.

Hope to schedule some guest speakers throughout the offseason.

 

Attendance will be taken at the end of each session via a short quiz and shared with each units

IC. Instructional credit will be given at the discretion of each unit.

 

The purpose of the optional, offseason instruction is to: 1) provide officials with an opportunity

to continuously learn throughout the off-season, and 2) provide officials with an opportunity to

complete 2026 instructional hours during the pre-season and reduce the need to complete

such hours during the regular season.
